KRATEx update: more light and reliability for your ATEX projects

We are pleased to announce that we have updated our KRATEx luminaire to offer you even more advantages for your projects in hazardous and ATEX areas. These are the main new features: 

New translucent internal optics, instead of opal 

- 10% improvement in luminous flux, which means: 

• Fewer luminaires needed to achieve the required light levels. 

• Reduction in installation costs and energy consumption. 

• More uniform and pleasant light in spaces. 

LiFePO₄ batteries in emergency versions 

-KRATEx versions with Ex d protection mode and emergency kit now include lithium-iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries. 

• Longer lifespan compared to traditional NiCd or NiMh batteries. 

• Greater safety thanks to their thermal and chemical stability, and suitability for high ambient temperature environments. 

• Improved performance in charge and discharge cycles, with a multi-level electronic charging system and deep discharge protection. 

• Reduced maintenance and greater reliability of the emergency system. 

-We have incorporated versions with self-tests and two-colour LED battery status indicators. 

These improvements reflect our commitment to always offering innovative, efficient, and safe products, especially in explosive atmospheres.
