New photovoltaic installation to supply energy to our Alhama I plant

Our ZALUX NEXT 2026 project continues to advance so that ZALUX becomes more sustainable every day. 

At our Alhama I facilities, in Alhama de Aragón, we have installed 970 photovoltaic panels with an installed power of 640 kWp. In this plant we carry out the processes with the highest energy consumption, such as the injection and extrusion of casings, diffusers or profiles for our weatherproof luminaires. 

With this installation we will achieve a 20% saving of the energy consumed in the plant. 

ZALUX NEXT 2026 is our strategic development framework for the coming years, to transform ZALUX into a more digital, innovative and sustainable company, prepared for the challenges of the future. 

This project has been funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
