Installation of photovoltaic panels at Alhama II

As part of our ZALUX NEXT 2026 strategy, during 2022 we have started up a 147 Kw photovoltaic self-consumption installation at our Alhama II plant in Alhama de Aragón, in order to contribute to reducing our environmental impact. 

The 286 photovoltaic panels will mean an environmental saving of 220.5 kg of CO2 per year, which is equivalent to planting 147 trees, with which we aim to reduce our energy consumption by 20%. 

In the Alhama II plant we carry out the wiring and final assembly of our luminaires, and from there, they are sent to our customers around the world. 

ZALUX NEXT 2026 is our strategic development framework for the coming years, to transform ZALUX into a more digital, innovative and sustainable company, prepared for the challenges of the future. 

This project has been funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
